Dina Khouri's interest in art began with her fascination of an x-ray. A minor injury required x-rays when she was six. Seeing that image stirred a life long passion for photography and fine arts. As a young child she traveled with her family to Africa and the Greek Islands. Her mixed efforts in capturing pictures of exotic animals, land, and underwater scenery ignited an artistic desire. Her eye for beauty had its beginnings on that trip and would cause her to look for magical images throughout the world. Dina used the movie industry as a means to support her love of traveling. Working as a still photographer and as a script supervisor, she had the opportunity to spend long stretches of time in countrysides that tourists would never see. She used this opportunity to capture slices of life. Dina has expanded her knowledge of photography in the digital age. She creates artistic portraits in studio and on location.
